16th April 2021, Singapore – Digital Entertainment Asset Pte. Ltd. (DEA), a global NFT entertainment business headquartered in Singapore, has announced the sale of an NFT drawn by world-famous VR performance artist Aimi Sekiguchi. As a VR artist working at Creek and River, the Japanese creative content agency, Seikiguchi became internationally recognised when her previous VR live painting artwork “Alternate dimension gensō kenran” was sold at the OpenSea NFT marketplace on March 25th this year at a price of 13 million yen  ($118,715).

The NFT to be auctioned is a game-linked NFT produced by Ms Sekiguchi that was recorded live on DEA’s YouTube programme, “NFTv”. It is now available for sale exclusively on  DEA’s NFT Marketplace by DEP (NFT: DEP). The NFT can also be used as an in-game item on DEA’s blockchain gaming platform, PlayMining.

By using five different special moves, users can get a high score. The NFT that can be purchased at the “NFT Marketplace by DEP” will increase the number of times one can use special moves and users with more NFTs receive special in-game bonuses.

DEAPcoin can be used as a currency to purchase NFTs, which have a significant impact on the progress of the game and can also be exchanged for fiat currency on crypto-asset exchanges.
