Development of “Social Issues”

A “social issue” does not exist from the outset.
What truly exists are only “problems” and “discomforts.”

Just as "utility pole inspections" were reframed as the social theme of “democratizing infrastructure,”
our role is to uncover overlooked problems, assign them new meaning,
and design the motivation that drives people to take action.

This is the essence of social issue development.

Development of “Games”

A “game” is a design framework that transforms obligation into engagement.
To inspire voluntary action, elements such as challenge, a sense of achievement, reward, cooperation or competition,
and narrative—which brings meaning and emotional resonance—are essential.

Game design is the very mechanism that draws out people’s passion,
and transforms social participation into excitement.

Development of “Fieldwork”

Fieldwork is not merely on-site research.
Its true essence lies in enabling citizens to freely move between the real and virtual,
and to gain insight and awareness through experiential learning.

By intentionally and creatively designing processes of observation, action, and documentation,
we transform citizen participation itself into a driving force for social change.
